The Challenge:

Applying:

1. Apply to be on the Show with a video submission.

2. Already have a Bug Out Bag ready to go in case of an emergency

3. Have Every Day Carry (EDC) items that you always keep with you. 

If You Get Accepted:

 If you get accepted, we will show up unexpectedly at your home and ask to see your Bug Out Bag. 

1. Your Bag will be sealed, so nothing can be added to or removed from it. 

2. Your pockets will be emptied, and an inventory of your EDC will be taken. 

3. You will receive a crash course in the camera gear you will need to use to record your adventures. 

4. Competition details and rules will be gone over again. 

5. On the launch evening or day, we will come and pick you up. You will not know where you are going. 

6. You'll be guided to the camp spot where you will be staying. 

7. At that time, your Bug Out Bag will be unsealed and your pockets examined to ensure they match the day inventory was originally done. 

8. The adventure begins!

While in the woods:

1. You will be given several challenges that will need to be completed. 

2. You will have no access to the outside world.

3. Your SIM card will be removed from your phone. It can only be put in if there is an emergency. 

4. You will be required to record your actions while in the woods to be evaluated afterwards. 

5. At the end of the course, you will open a sealed box that will give you instructions to lead yourself out of the woods to the endpoint. 

6. If for any reason you radio/call for help to the outside world, the competition is over for you, and you will be led back out of the woods.  No chance to win anything will be given to you. 

After the Challenge is Over. 

Once the challenge is over and every contestant has gone through their challenge, a panel of judges will evaluate your performance. Anonymous voting will take place, and a winner will be declared. 

Prizes are yet to be revealed.  The game is yet to change as this is developed. Stay tuned for a date when we will start looking for contestants.
